KIDS JIU-JITSU

At Hawaii Jiu-Jitsu Lab, we aim to inspire a love for Jiu-Jitsu in our students. We achieve this by fostering a fun and engaging training environment. Our goal is to create an environment where children are excited to attend their training sessions, thereby reducing any reluctance and allowing parents to witness their children’s enjoyment and progress. At Hawaii Jiu-Jitsu Lab, we believe that a positive and fun training atmosphere is key to nurturing a lifelong passion for Jiu-Jitsu.& life.

At Hawaii Jiu-Jitsu Lab, your child's safety is our top priority. While we acknowledge that there is some risk associated with any contact sport, we strive to minimize injuries by teaching essential skills, such as how to fall properly and how to be a supportive training partner.

We understand that one of the biggest challenges in learning Jiu-Jitsu is becoming comfortable with physical contact. Our approach introduces students to the art in a graceful and welcoming manner, helping them to feel at ease with the physical aspects of training.

We believe that mastering the movement of another's body begins with mastering one's own. Our classes are designed to help students build the necessary coordination, strength, and foundational movements essential for success on the mats.

Learning Jiu-Jitsu offers numerous benefits for your child, including:

1. Improved Physical Health: Enhanced mobility, flexibility, strength, and endurance.

2. Character Development: Jiu-Jitsu serves as a vehicle for self-discovery and personal growth, fostering traits such as focus, discipline, grit, work ethic, patience, teamwork, confidence, and leadership.

3. Safety and Self-Defense: Knowing how to defend themselves physically boosts children's confidence in standing up for themselves verbally, giving you peace of mind.

We often hear stories of children who improve their focus in school, achieve better grades, exhibit better behavior at home, and grow into happy, successful members of our community.

That's our mission, and we want your child to be our next success story.
